This is going to be a very quick update.I am on a rampage here at Children's.I have been trying for 3 hours to get the air conditioning turned down in Zoey's room. Her nose is even cold.Engineering is dragging their feet and I am about to lose my mind.Zoey's ANC has finally hit zero. And her white count is.6.Finally we have bottomed out.Tomorrow at 8:15 she will be having her bone marrow biopsy.Within two hours of that we will find out what the next step will be.Please focus your prayers on NO BLASTS!!!! Which means that there are no immature cells circulating in her little body.If there are blasts, they will not wait for her counts to rebound and they will begin Round 2.We really want Zoey's body to have an opportunity to recover before her next treatment begins.Starting Round 2 at this point would leave her even more susceptible to infection. As it is, they have her on an IV antibiotic due to her g-tube infection. Her poor belly is so red and so very tender.Today she was a little less smiley. Not quite my happy little love.Made me sad.She is sleeping peacefully now and with any luck will have a quiet and restful nights sleep.Big day tomorrow for Miss Zoey and she needs all the prayers she can get.Once again a huge thank you for all your love and support.

I am still praying for Zoey to have a perfect response to her treatment and for the Blessed Mother to hold Zoey in her arms and keep her safe! I also pray for strength for all of you!

I continue praying for Little Zoey (my three year old calls her Zo Bug). I pray there's no blasts and she can have a rest.

Our family will remember Zoey in our prayers tonight! You don't know us, but we have a DS baby girl too. Zoey has such a light radiating from her that whenever I am having a hard day I come to your blog and look at pictures of her...she is such a blessing. hang in there!!!

Thinking of you all with lots of zeros in mind and praying for Zoey's strong recovery. I was just so good to see her and to see you. I still have her smiling face in my mind's eye. Love, love, love, Christi Harman

Looking forward to an update...been praying for Zoey today!

I hope the guy came in to fix the air conditioner....ooohhhh I hate when that happens! They keep those rooms sooo cold and it is so frustrating when you have little ones with low immunity trying so hard not to get sick!

Sending love and good thoughts your way!

Cheri and family

I've been worrying about Zoey today, hoping to hear something about the bone marrow. We never had to do one with no ANC, so I can't imagine. Did they have a hard time getting any marrow since her marrow is wiped out right now?

Sounds familiar, acting a little down with counts at zero. Once those counts start to come up, the redness on her tummy will fade, and it's miraculous to see those things heal and go away. There's only one way to go now, and that's UP!

Still praying for you guys, I'll check back in the morning for an update.
