Buddy Walk 2010 with our princess ...

My sweet little princess.

I could always photoshop Caitlin and Taylor in :(

The oldest and the youngest beauties.

I LOVE this one!

Zoey loving on her daddy.

Zoey and her best buddy,Amanda.

Zoey and her Godmother,Michelle.

It has been an extremely long couple of days.First there was eye surgery day for Miss Z on Friday, which,I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think I can say, with about 99% certainty, was a failure.Yep,fairly frustrating, total bummer and unfortunately, next step is most likely a naso-cranial surgeon.Add that to the long list of specialists. We had barely caught our breath from our 4:30 am wake up call, when Saturday morning arrived and found Mark sick with something. What, not sure but it wasn't pretty. His illness and my attitude. He literally slept all day and all night.Which made my Saturday, feel much like every other day of the week.Sunday morning found us scrambling to get ready for the Buddy Walk and found Mark feeling 75% better and able to join us for the day.So off we went and a good time was had by all.We missed Caitlin,Danny and Charlie but the drive and turn around was going to be too much to undertake. And of course,Taylor is busy living the hard life in Switzerland and this weekend found her busy trying to get essays and school work done so she could head to London to attend the opening of the new Harry Potter movie.Poor girl.Life is tough all over.

Zoey was tired most of the day.Still not quite recovered from Friday.I think too,as much as she is a people person, the environment seemed to be a bit overwhelming for her.She did however LOVE the music and was happiest when watching all the little performances. We also were able to have a very brief and I mean very brief, meet up with the darling Sweet Pea.Oh my gosh. What a cutie! She and her family were just arriving and Zoey and I were trying desperately to not get separated from our little group. We said a quick hello and hoped to run into them later but it wasn't to be.Hopefully we can plan another stress free playdate soon.

The day was filled with tons of oooing and ahhhing over some of the cutest ever, extra chromosomed people. We bought a few new Signing Time DVD's,enjoyed each other's company and captured some wonderful moments on camera.Another day, that reminded us of how blessed and lucky we are to be part of this truly beautiful, beautiful community.

Wow, you have been blessed with a beautiful family!
I pray that everyone gets and stays healthy and that the doctors have the wisdom and skills to fix Zoey's eye. AMEN!

Sweet pics, and I'm so sorry about Zoey's eye surgery. :-( Buddy Walks are always so fun, but so stressful, trying to keep everything organized! There were so many people at ours that I wanted to connect with, but too many people and too much chasing Samantha around to actually socialize or to even find them in. *sigh* The photo of Zoey and her daddy is soooooo precious!

I'm so bummed that the eye surgery didn't work. I was really hoping it would!

We had fun at our first buddy walk this year, but it was hectic. I spent too much time trying to entertain family to even walk around and see everyones tents. Next year, I'm going to make sure Claire and I have time to socialize some.

Sorry to hear that the surgery was most probably not successful, any chance of the 1% coming through for her??
What beautiful pictures, looks like such a wonderful day as well. I LOVE both your t-shirts, where did you get them? Did you order them off a website? Let me know, I need to get a set for us as well.

I'm so sorry that the eye surgery didn't work. I don't know how I missed this post and feel badly that I didn't check in sooner.
