“When you have come to the edge of all light that you know and you are about to drop off into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing one of two things will happen: there will be something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly.”~ Patrick Overton
So Heather, how exactly is feeding therapy going with Miss Zoey?
Well,since you asked:
Good thing she is cute.Forward on we go.One day.One day perhaps this child of mine might decide she likes food again. One can only hope.Cuz it's all about hope after all, isn't it?
I love Joe's patience with her and her little giggle right before she throws it! She is cute! Keep that hope dear friend she will get it. We will keep praying for her eating to kick into high gear.
That video brings me back to when we were first teaching our daughter to eat on her own in a high chair (only a short twenty three years ago). :-) We had the same results too. Ha! Ha! Keep up the great work and keep smiling too. ;-)
OK, because I always have something in my mouth, I almost choked on my Oreo when she tossed that first pretzel! Sweet Zoey , I could just inhale you! That mischievous look in her eye is adorable! Hope, always there is hope!!!
Zoey, Zoey, Zoey! Pretzels are good.....In fact, I just ate some! Although, throwing them does look kind of fun too! :) You silly girl! Someday Momma....I just know it! Hugs!!!
OH MAN...LOL I tell ya madie can scream and Zoey can throw...U and me both chickie..I have no idea when or if madie will EVER eat real foods...and if she does she will be a picky eater like her dad! But Ill take anything!~ I am a Feeding Therapy Drop out..:(
I have watched this at least 7 times today, sent it to my husband and several friends. Adorable and my envy. I wish we could just get our girl throwing food! My favorite part was watching her sweet brother - Love that sassy girl!
To make you feel better Addy does the exact same thing! The progress she is making isn't pretty. It is a good 45 minutes of forcing her to take in the food. She finally just deals with it the last 15 minutes. She is getting better but we still have a VERY long road ahead! Addy watched this with me and clapped every time Zoey threw the pretzel!
Well,... the dog is loving it for sure! Yes, we can only hope she will try the pretzel someday.
Gotta keep positive - and I agree with others there is a huge twinkle in her eye as the pretzel goes flying from her tray!
And Joey had so much patience with his little "sister"... loved his comment on #3 attempt - "Now Zoey do not throw this on the floor". A grin from Zoey & off in mid-air it flew... ya gotta love it!
Hahaha I hate to tell you that I laughed out loud, but I did! My son Jacob came over to see what was so funny. After he told me "She's so cute! She reminds me of a bigger version of Arina" he laughed and laughed when she grabbed the pretzel and chucked it. :) One day, perhaps, our girls will BOTH eat!
Oh this is just too cute! I love how Joe gets serious with her in the end and she follows along in her own adorable way. Your dog is sure on the winning end of this deal.
Apparently I am behind in my blog reading..I missed this post. That is sooooooo Ella. I can't wait to get them both together and feed them. It should be a hoot!!!

Hehe - she knows what she wants (or doesn't want!). Max does the same thing with a lot foods (even ones he likes) as it's a fun game for the dog :)
She sure is cute and I think she knows that she is so cute when she isn't doing what you want. The grin that she gets is priceless!
We will keep thinking positive eating thoughts and in the meantime, I'll continue to eat her share. ;-)
I don't like pretzels either, Zoey. But I highly recommend Skittles.

I think she likes the game of throwing the pretzel! I thought for a minute there she was going to put it in her mouth. Close, it will happen!

She reminds me so much of M. He knows what he wants. She is so stinking cute. One day she will like food, she truly will. Hugs
That's okay, Samantha hates pretzels, too. :-)
Omg, she is so cute! Thanks for the laugh today!

OK - my fav part - big brother tapping the pretzel on the counter - no throwing Zoey. Loved it!
