Hotel C.H.L.A here we come .....

That would be Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. So wish I could say it stood for something far more glamorous and exciting. No such luck.I find it hard to believe that Zoey's ANC won't be over 750 today, which means, over 750 is our ticket in for Round 3.Stranger things have happened but I am fairly certain that today is the day.In fact,I think I'm as close to ready as I'll ever get.The extra almost week has been absolutely wonderful but has gone by far too quickly. So quickly that not one picture was taken with all of the kids home this weekend.I guess we were just too busy enjoying just being together.Monday found everyone heading out in their necessary directions and found me preparing for our "trip". I began the day not feeling as anxious as I usually do when we are embarking on a new round. However,as the morning has progressed that sinking feeling is creeping in.My stress level has kicked into high gear and I am impatient beyond belief.I know once I get there things will be better. It's the getting there that's the hard part.I had to run to the bank early and made a quick pit stop to our churches chapel. My prayers were mostly for peace and strength.Peace for Mark and I as we begin the chaos that comes with each long admission.Peace for all the kids, the big and small.Mostly peace and strength for Zoey's tiny body as the assault of her cocktail of drugs begins doing it's thing. So, we are off.In honor of the day I leave you with, what else ...a quote.I will keep the faith. For sometimes it's all we have.

"Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase." ~Martin Luther King Jr.

Okay okay inquiring minds want to know...what is this ponytail I am hearing of?!? It must be fantastic if it has been mentioned twice dear Heather!!
I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you, the family and of course Princess Zoey as you embark on Round 3. Does this mark the beginning of the halfway there process?? Zoey is such a smiler!! Is that a word?? She just radiates beauty and happiness. I look forward to the day that I can give her a nice big hug and see that smile in person!! xoxox

I emailed you my home phone number. Until I get another cell I have no way to call you, so you'll have to call me. Sorry to be such a pain! Hope all is going well.

Hey beautiful family...my prayers and wishes are with you all during round 3! Preslie is a warrior and you, my friend are her strength to fight on...you radiate it even though you may not feel like you do and Zoey can feel that. She fights for you my dear and because those children know no other way then to fight. So fight on my dear! Know we send our love! I am here if you shall need me!

I was just very fascinated from the photos of Zoey. I looked at her eyes, her happiness coming from deep inside...and it was just like she shines. She has that special look like Mia had, that glance in her eyes. I just thought "she knows soooo much." I don`t know why I thought that, actually.

Now, you are in that storm again - and again you will come back to a safe haven in a couple of days. I am very sure of that and will spend a lot of time with you, at least mental.

I'll be praying! I'm so sorry that you are having to head back to the hospital and that Zoey will have to go through all that she will need to! My heart really aches thinking about this! I'll be thinking of you and your family! Hang in there and God's blessing to all of you!

Oh, I hope that you don't mind, but I added your blog to my list of families to visit and pray for. Zoey's and your story is one to be shared...so inspirational!

as you can see I am posting this on Wednesday am (9:15 here on East Coast) Checking on Zoey's Round 3 progress. Hope all is going well with her.

What's this about a ponytail? Yes, we all want to see that. You know everytime a new photo is seen, I think oh that is a topper and I have have finally realized they are ALL toppers each and everyone. This is because of Zoey's beautiful, beautiful smile.

I'm so happy you were all home together over the weekend to have some quality Needham time. So important for all six kids and especially for you and Mark.

I'm praying for you little Zoey as is everyone here on the East Coast. I want you to know that a friend's granddaughter is a down child (now in public school) and when I spoke of all of Zoey's problems she asked if she could include Zoey on the prayer list from her granddaughters group - I said "Oh yes", Everyone, everywhere holds Zoey in their thoughts and prayers.

Hugs to everyone

Aunt Bluebelle
