Long over due ....

The main reason I rarely post videos is because I have absolutely no idea how to load them and then upload them. Clueless. Absolutely clueless. As I have said countless times before, computers and me, not friends. Therefore, I have to wait for Mark. And after he has had an extremely long, long day of editing actual TV shows, the last thing I feel like doing, is asking the poor guy to put together a 4 minute video or in this particular case: 3 minutes and 57 seconds. But being the great guy he is, tonight he obliged. What I love about this particular clip is that it truly captures Zoey's innocent little spirit. This is Zoey, all the time. Except day two of chemo and trust me, you don't want to see that on video. So... here is the little love. Enjoy our tiny warrior. Take in a few minutes of what we are blessed to experience all day long. Every single day. Mark and I marveled and giggled and even cried a bit as we watched this. We look at this child and all that she has been through and all that she continues to go through and by the look of things here, you would never know it. We did have the momentary and it was only momentary, awww, as we watched her, with her little stroke arm, still doing her thing, oblivious to it all. That's my girl. Rolls with the punches and keeps moving forward. Amazing. Miraculous and simply amazing. Don't forget to pause our music at the bottom first.

Ohhhhh so cute she is!!! Thanks for posting that, it made me smile. And, as for Reid who was toddling by me when the clip started... you stopped him in his tracks when he heard you say, "Where's your ball?" he said "ba, ba" signed ball and came back over to see the rest. He giggled when you laughed and kept waving at Zoey on the computer saying his version of hi over and over again. I think he recognized his sweet girlfriend....even without her cool pink car that he admired so much in the hospital.

I am glad you have a few extra days to rest and enjoy being home before you go back... for real next time. At which time Zoey is going to kick round 4's butt just like the rest and be so much closer to saying adios to the fourth floor.

Enjoy our day! :)

The 'L I T T L E' Things

As you might know, the head of a company survived
9/11 because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.

One of them
Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.

One's
Car wouldn't start.

One went back to
Answer the telephone.

One had a child that dawdled
And didn't get ready as soon as he should have.

One couldn't
Get a taxi.

The one that struck me was the man
Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
a blister on his foot.
He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am
Stuck in traffic,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone...
All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where
God wants me to be at this very moment...

Next time your morning seems to be
Going wrong,
The children are slow getting dressed,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
Remember: God is at work watching over you.

May you continue to have experiences
With all those annoying little things
And may you remember their possible purpose.

WOW! As incredibly articulate as you are, words can't do justice to the beauty of that precious little one.

While some bloggers' children responded to the sound of your video, my cat was convinced you were talking to her. And all the time I was hoping I could have a matching outfit to Zoey's, and play with her on the floor.

Thank you for sharing that moment.

Love the video! Mom is on her way over to watch it! I love Zoey's smile. I think she has abs of steel to pull herself up to sitting like that. I agree with bluebelle-it was nice to hear your voice Heather. Mark-I enjoyed talking with you Tuesday night.

Oh my! 3 minutes and 57 seconds is a little stingy of you don't cha think? Guess I shouldn't be greedy but I could watch a video like that for hours.
She looks amazing. I laid my head on the desk and watched this with tears in my eyes! I love this little warrior, she is my hero, Presley's hero too.
Precious sweet Zoey, just precious!!
