The love of a sister ....

Taylor is one amazing 17 year old.At least in my eyes.As a senior in high school, winding down her high school years, preparing for college, all the while working part time and fitting in a boyfriend she has dated for a year and a half ... she always makes time for her younger siblings. And sometimes by default.Taylor has become the surrogate mom around here. With Jess finishing up her own senior year in college and Caitlin in San Diego,Taylor is the go to gal.We most certainly could not have weathered the last 5 months without her self sacrificing.A large percentage of the responsibility falls square on Taylor's shoulders when we are inpatient for so long. She rarely complains and always goes above and beyond. She runs errands, takes kids to doctors appointments, cooks and well, the list goes on and on.And on top of it, when Zoey is home,Taylor spends a great deal of time loving on her,as witnessed by these very sweet pictures. We love you Taylor Morgan and we are so,so very proud of you.We know that life around here has left you having to do more than your fair share and we also know there have been times when it has been far from easy. You have done such a phenomenal job of balancing things, better than some twice your age and for that and so much more your dad and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

These photos melt my heart. Oh, boy, I'm going to have to grab the kleenex now. And, by the way, Gwendolyn loves your music!

now if more people could be like taylor, what a wonderful world it would be! kids these days are far from "human", so im delighted when i come across such wonderful beings! thanks taylor for stepping in and being such a great caretaker when times are tough! it means a lot to us as parents, that we can count on our children. i too watch my 8 year old interact and keep the 18 month old busy, when i am busy! it is more help than we can thanks you guys for! so, thanks again!

Taylor - you are indeed a big sister "hero" as well as a "hero" to your parents. Kudos to you. So often we hear only negative comments about today's teenagers - but you are indeed a "shining star" and I know there are a lot more sister/brother "shining stars" out there.

Love & hugs to everyone

I think anyone who reads your blog is in awe of Taylor. Beautiful, smart, and lovingly there for her family at an age when others might be resentful of having do so!

Taylor,
I can't wait to meet you, I think of you everytime I look at Presley's butterfly blankie, that little blankie is soooo special to me, I don't think you can know just how much it touched me when I recieved it.
You keep on being you, your sweet soul will take you far in life and you will be blessed with plenty.

Taylor, what a special young lady, sister, and daughter you are. It takes a special young person to have the maturity and patience to be all that you are being right now... and to do it so gracefully and so full of love...you can see it on your beautiful face! :)
