How Dare Someone ...

This is an add on to the post you will find below.Mark and I stayed up until 2 in the morning adding these pictures for our family and friends. Before we headed to bed Mark checked previous comments. We were shocked beyond belief to find the most filthy, vile comments left by a cowardly, anonymous poster.Who,in their right mind comes in to some one's sacred place and says hurtful and HATEFUL words.Who???Someone sick and sad and very lonely.I will not dignify or give this person the time of day to address all the specifics but I would like to clarify a few things.First, these are NOT teenagers. You don't know them so do not make an uneducated assumption like that. And to attack my parenting really confirms you do not know myself or my husband. We are not perfect but we are good parents with the most amazing children. We are not on welfare nor are our children and more specifically neither are Danny and Caitlin. The "system" does not pay for them or their beautiful child.THEY do.As for your sick other comments ... get some help. You have some serious deviant problems. So to my family and friends, unfortunately,to protect my family,I must now set my comments to moderation. We will have to view each and every comment before it is posted.I apologize that one twisted individual had to ruin the way we run this blog.Sad and extremely sick.

I just recently found your site and love seeing your family. The thought of anyone leaving nasty remarks on a family blog is disgusting. Some people just live that way and like to ruin other's people's day! The world would be much nicer if we all showed more tolerance of others. I think you look like a very nice family and your next generation coming along is icing on the cake. For every negative comment there are many more who think the opposite...we definitely outnumber the downers.
Have a great day and enjoy your kids and your grandchild too!

Oh no!! Thats terrible!! Why would someone defile your blog like that? I have had the same problem on my blog, it was an anonymous comment as well. Why do people do these things? Why are people so cruel? I hope whatever that horrible person wrote does not stick with you and you let it roll off. They are clearly ignorant. Your family is wonderful, and you are a wonderful woman. I am truly sorry you had to deal with such stupidity at this special time. {{{HUGS}}}!!!!

I just saw all of the posts, Charlie is gorgeous! Congrats to your whole family! I LOVE that Zoey is signing! Addy refuses to sign Baby, she just chucks them across the room when we give them to her to play with anyway!

Wow! Some people just blow my mind. I'm so sorry you guys had to read nasty comments regarding your family. I have yet to experience nasty comments on my blog. I'm sure, when and if ever I do...I WILL blow my top!

Congrats again on the newest member for the family. She is very blessed to have such a family to be born into.

Heather I'm so sorry this happened to you. It's one of the reasons I've always moderated my comments. There truly are some sick people out there who only want to hurt others.

Hugs..

Oh Heather, I'm so sorry you have to do this. I wonder if this is one person who is on DS blogs. You are a fantastic mother, one I aspire to be like. Your children are beautiful and smart. I know Caitlin looks young, but thats because she looks like her mom.
Oh and I love the family pic, so cute.

That person, whoever they are means nothing to any of us...that person, I pity and hope and pray that they find love inside themself, that they are able to make something meaningful and worthwhile of their life so they don't have time to do this to other people. They obviously do NOT know you, because if they did, they would be in awe at you and Mark, in awe that out of 6 children, ALL of them are amazing, ALL of them are selfless, wonderful individuals like yourselves. You are a family of love, strength, service and I and all those that truly know you LOVE you always!

I'm sorry someone left a hateful post. I don't understand people like that. And they always do it under "Anonymous". I don't allow anon commenting and so far been lucky to avoid the idiots. Big Hugs.

Oh Heather, How horrible! The very think this blog hopes to present, love, working together, sharing information and eliminating stereotypes... I hope you feel the love from each of us and know that we all care for the Needham family and know that you are wonderful parents (you too Caitlyn and Danny :-)). Checking in each morning is my favorite thing - to think that this site would be violated leaves me sad to the very core. I love you, big hugs - Christy Pinuelas

You in no way deserve that. No one does. I'm incredibly sorry that you were on the firing end of someone who has absolutely no idea what they're talking about. You are a magnificent mother with a gorgeous family.

Apparently that commenter isn't close enough in person to see your family in action. We're just fellow churchgoers who have kept up with Zoey's blog since we attended the cut-a-thon. I truly enjoy seeing your family and witnessing the love you all share on Sundays at Mass. Zoey has gotten so big!

We all appreciate the updates and the pictures and Heather your writing is truly uplifting and amazing. GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS pictures. Beautiful baby, beautiful parents, beautiful family full of love and joy. I'm debating whether or not I will even read whatever stupid thing was written... leaning towards NO! I know you, and your lives and actions speak so loudly. Any stupid comments obviously reflect completely on the author's ignorance. I've seen the joy in you and your family and it's so real and beautiful. Tons of love to you all,

First of all - Congrats Grandpa and Mimi. What a wonderful blessing to have this perfect spirit. Her Father in Heaven carefully created her to be the perfect sweet lil soul that she will be. Her mission here on this earth is yet to be known...but I'm sure our Father in Heaven has a wonderful plan for her.. Again, Congrats!!

As for the jerk...ugh!! Bless your sweet hearts and souls for taking the higher road.

That being said...YOU, YOUR DH and YOUR LOVELY family have ALL been blessed with the the lovely asset of having YOUTH be on your side. I'm always amazed at how beautiful, young and darling each of your children AND YOU look as you tell your story via pictures.

Keep the YOUTH in your life and continue to live every single day full of LIFE!!

Love in Him,

I love your blog and I look forward to your posts, especially since we both have six kids and we both feel blessed to have them. That is unbelievably awful that someone would write those comments. Thanks Heather for always bringing a smile to my face - lately I've really needed one. Things have been really tough for me. Your family is so great!!!!

You are right Heather..how dare someone be so ignorant and hateful. They obviously have no clue about your family. I've known the Needhams for the better part of 14 years now..our daughters played soccer together. Spent many weekends together with all the children. Let me just say that Mark and Heather are parents that a book of "this is how you should raise your children" should be written about them. They are kind, loving and generous. Their kids are their world. My kids adore them!!

Caitlin-you are gorgeous, sweet and kind and I have NO doubt in my mind that you will be a fabulous mama to Charlotte. I've seen your love for your siblings since you were a wee lass. Congratulations!!!

As for the poster, you know its funny how people like that post anonymously, of course they do because they aren't man or woman enough to back their comments with their picture or true identity.

Keep strong Heather and move on!! I for one love the pictures and your writing so I can keep up with your fabulous family!! The Cantrall family LOVES you all very much!!

I'm not sure how I ran across your site, but have been following it- struck by your wonderful attitude, parenting and beautiful children (especially little Zoey). You should only feel good about your family, they are a tribute to your parenting, which obviously was/is being done very well. Enjoy everyone of them, including your beautiful new granddaughter, they are such a gift.

I follow your blog from time to time ( We have 3 little girls at home keeping us busy!) and love to see pictures of your beautiful daughter and family. It is a shame that someone can write inappropriate things when someone is sharing their family and life moments. We pray for your precious daughter and will continue to do so. I have heard of that on other blogs, too and it is such a shame!

Congratulations to the new Mommy and Daddy - and all of you!

Congratulations on the newest addition to you family!!! What a year, huh? pretty amazing and emotional. Talk about ups and downs!!! and psst to the #&(*! who posted something nasty. Your family inspires me every day. Your blog inspires me. And judging by the comments you got about this, I know I'm not the only one positively affected by your blog. So keep it up and forget that person. Enjoy your time for celebration!

Heather,
You don't know me, but I love following your blog. Little Zoey is an inspiration, and I cannot tell you how many times her courage and strength have brought tears to my eyes. Your new grandbaby is beautiful, and all children are a blessing from God. I think you have an amazingly close and strong family. Thank you for sharing your life with the world.

I found your blog quite by accident and from the first time I read about your family, I was absolutely charmed. I spent what must have been hours reading, becoming more enchanted with your family with each post. Even though we’ve never met, your words have encouraged me to do better and in that sentiment, I am sure I’m not alone. Can you feel all of us walking with you? We are standing with you when times are hard. We rejoice with each bit of good news. We are there, even if we are thousands of miles away. Because of the path your life is on, you have become an inspiration to so many others. I thank God for whatever quirk of fate led me to your blog that Saturday afternoon. I am changed because of it and I can never go back – even if I wanted to. Thank you for sharing the highs and the lows – the real life – of your family with us.

With regard to the anonymous poster, the operative phrase here is “who in their right mind”. People with this meanness of spirit are clearly not in their right mind. And you owe them no explanation and no apologies. Pictures are worth a thousand words – and anyone in their right mind can see what an amazing family you have.

Kindest regards to you and your entire family,
Michelle Drollinger

Oh my goodness, I didn't see this comment but it surely sounds horrible. I would love to me the perfect soul in this world who has the right to cast dispersions on others, especially those they've never even met. Funny how these sorts of things are always left by "anonymous".
My blog is fairly new and fortunately I've never experienced this.. hope I never will!
All I can say is if you feel so inclined, have the nerve to use your name, don't hide behind "anonymous", don't be a coward. Better yet, stay away.

Heather, congratulations on having more class than most, and congratulations on your gorgeous granddaughter.
Oh, and good work Miss Zoey!

I have been following another IS blogger and came across your blog one night...Your blog always puts a smile on my face and I love to read about Zoey's accomplishments. I'm sorry that someone could be so heartless and cruel about something so amazing....enjoy your new granddaughter, she is beautiful, I look forward to more pictures of both her and Zoey. Take care and God bless your family!

Heather,

I came upong your blog via a quilting blog; I have spent the last 20 minutes enjoying your family, your unending positive attitude, and your very precious grandchildren. I am a granny to 3 wonderful grandchildren; tomorrow my oldest sweet grandson will celebrate his 6th birthday! How time has flown by! When he was born, he spent 10 days in the neo-natal ICU, and he was on oxygen for a few months. He is healthy now, and I thank God that his little sisters overcame their RSV and pneumonia when they were tiny.

Charlie is precious, and Zoey is beautiful; you are blessed, and I know you will count your blessings and place the comments of the sick idiot where they belong--in the cyber trash can. One must pity an individual whose life is so empty he/she must purposefully hurt innocent people who are simply sharing their joy, their happiness, and their wonderful family with all of us. Blessings to you and yours. Happy July!
