Meet Lois ...

Look at that face.See the sweetness.Take in her beauty and her innocence and then say some prayers. For today her battle begins with Leukemia or rather with myleodysplastic syndrome which is a precursor to leukemia and treated just the same as it's AML counter part. This morning her journey officially began as she had her port placed.A foreign object that represents the reality of cancer.

Although I have never met her family,I know all too well what is in their hearts. Those hearts are heavy. So we'll carry them for now.Shall we?

Our prayers are with Lois and her family. I can imagine how my Zoey is the very HOPE and inspiration that they need at this time.

I was drawn to this post as Lois is my sister's name and it's not often we meet anyone else with that name. Lois in your post has such a sweet smile, just like Zoey. certainly that's someone to add to our prayer list!
