Resurfacing .....

Wow.I do believe, after 519 posts since beginning the blog, that this marks my longest mini hiatus. This latest absence in blogging seems longer than it probably actual was.For me,seems like forever.Life has been crazy busy.So much to catch everyone up on.So much so,that I hardly know where to begin.Instead of making this a marathon post, saturated with all the events of the past 2 weeks,I will hit a few high points for now.

Feeling humbled and beyond grateful,a visit to the CHLA oncology clinic today, revealed that Miss Zoey remains in remission.Three months from now,we will return for another draw and Godwilling will find the same results, marking almost 2 years to the very day since her leukemia diagnosis.

Feeling the love and ties that bind us,through the gift of an extra chromosome,we meet the darling Addy and her beautiful family along with a quick visit with our warrior buddy Ella.By the way,how cool is it that we spent the afternoon with Addy GRACE,Zoey GRACE and Ella GRACE?Grace,by definition:elegance or beauty of form, manner, motion, or action.Grace indeed in these three precious girls.

Feeling blessed and lucky that God entrusted these beautiful, beautiful children to Mark and I.This weekend we came together to celebrate our grandbaby Charlotte's 1st birthday.

Feeling exhausted to no end.Heading to bed.More to blog about later, including our move, the new private blog and Miss Zoey's eye surgery on Friday. For now, enough.

On the other hand Happy First Birthday to that beautiful Dumpling!!

And how lucky of you to all be together with Addy!!!! Wonderful!

And I love all the pics!

The one where you are holding Zoey and I think it's Ella's dad, is holding Ella and Addy is so sweet. Ella is reaching out for Zoey.

How is it even possible that your precious grandchild is 1? My goodness, time just needs to stand still a while. . . . If only.
