3 weeks. You don't say ...

Far too much to share. So I will hit the major high point of the last several weeks. The rest, will wait. Some indefinitely. Some, as my dear friend Elizabeth puts it, are "unbloggable". Some not mine to share. Not now at least. So I will instead inundate you with pictures of the newly joined in matrimony, Mr. and Mrs. Matt McKee.

Darling couple. Are they not?

Beautiful bride.

Sweet younger brother who serenaded the church prior to the ceremony.

Outrageously fun reception. I truly mean, outrageously fun.

The photo booth was a hit for one and all.

And finally a few from Jessica's good friend Kaitlin, who was a bridesmaid and she is also a talented photographer. She took these at the house before we headed to the church. More pictures eventually, perhaps even of me, when the official photographs come back from the husband and wife team that took everything from the ceremony through the crazy reception shenanigans.

Really? How is it possible that this is my baby girl? Sidenote: Those are my moms pearls. I loved that Jess wore them. I know my mom was there with us in spirit, but boy, did we miss her physical presence. We always will miss her desperately at all these life milestones events. Always.

And these two, of Danny, Caitlin and Charlotte, well, what can I say? Besides so stink'n cute.

That's all I got and I must tell you, getting this done and posted, has taken forever. The longer I stay away, the harder it is to get back in the groove. But Ill be back. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

thank you, thank you Heather. Been checking at least twice a day looking for some photos! A nice assortment... The photos at the house of Jessica are outstanding!
Jessica and Matt were the most relaxed bride & groom I have seen, starting with Jess galloping down the aisle at church!
And Jake strumming his guitar was such a precious touch. Good job Jake. Joe was having a fun time for sure... We seem to be missing photo of Zoey Grace She was having a fun time dancing with everyone especially her Uncle Pat from Texas.. Maybe next blog...beautiful wedding, wonderful but brief visit to California!

Bluebelle

Now when my friends ask for pictures I can send them to blog. Unfortunately my camera was not working properly and I ended up with no pictures. I was one TICKED Aunt Bluebelle I can tell you!!

Hugs

Looks like a very nice day for a white wedding.

You know, I can relate to this statement a LOT. "The longer I stay away, the harder it is to get back in the groove."

I dunno...think I can go a year with no blog entry? It's good to have goals, don'tcha think?

Oh Heather, beautiful photos. I completely understand what you mean about "the longer I stay away the harder it is to get back to blogging" I guess it's just different seasons, right now there is so much that has been left undone that I just don't want to sit with my nose pressed against the computer screen. Plus it's easier to jot a line on FB than compose something real and meaty, plus edit. People actually comment on FB whereas my blog- talking to the wind! Oh well,

I wish there was something I could do to help smooth out the rough patches,

What a beautiful wedding! I love all the pictures and joyful smiles.

I've been away from my blog too long too, and can't get back in the groove either. Hopefully soon!

Beautiful, beautiful photos of your over the top gorgeous family. I love that your daughter wore your mother's pearls -- that is, indeed, special.

I am glad you've come back here -- it's a privilege to read your writing and see your family -- even through the sorrows.
