Yes,Lacey he does indeed sleep places other than the ottoman!!
My last post, with a picture of Joe passed out on the ottoman, yielded a comment from my good friend Lacey, asking if Joe slept any where else except our ottoman. It seems that I have posted a number of pictures of Joe asleep on the same piece of family furniture.Okay, maybe A LOT of pictures of Joe asleep on the same piece of family furniture.See,the thing is,Joe actually is a major motor driven child.Meaning, there is literally on and off and NOTHING in between. As I have shared a bit before, Joe has ADHD,extreme ADHD and a fun little mood disorder thing thrown in for a chaser. He takes Clonidine for the ADHD and Risperdal for the other. Both medications were difficult for us cave to using but both have made a huge difference in Joe and how Joe successfully finds his way through his little life.So what does that have to do with Joe asleep on the ottoman you say?Well, often Joe just peeters out.One minute he is jumping and bouncing on the ottoman, the next, passed out on that very same ottoman.Today, during Zoey's PT session,Joe found his way to her exercise ball and the result ... the picture you see.Within minutes of placing his head on the ball he was out.For two hours.Out.I of course moved him off the ball but not before I captured this classic pictue. He and Zoey both are still fighting this cold/flu thing. One day I think they are better and then,a day like today or an evening rather and I wonder if they're actually getting worse.Tomorrow we may find ourselves back at the doctors for the 3rd time this week.Oh such fun ..

Well Zoey's exercise ball seems to have come in handy for more than one thing, funnily enough Joe looks rather comfortable too!
OK, too funny and I have to admit I thought Joe just had a soft spot for the ottoman! That is a classic picture!!!
Oh , sweet Joe, I have to admit I've got a sweet spot for Joe!
wish those two would kick this thing to the curb! You know Emmie was like that, it kind of lingered, she would look really good one day and then the next she would just want to sleep. How are you feeling!!!
OMG... this is priceless!
Oh he is to cute. So he just drops like a rock. Carter does that to an extent. He goes, goes, goes, and he's always the first one out. And its usually in the living room instead of his bed. Hopefully you get over these dang colds. Our barfing thing only lasted 24 hours. Mondo had it yesterday, lets hope Tanner doesn't get it.
{{{{HUGS JOE}}}}}
Ahhh, nice to know i'm not alone in my sickiness... urg.
Your house sounds so much like mine. My sweet Ryan sounds like Joe. Motor driven. Oh my. He's either "full steam ahead" or passed out asleep. The later is very rare. The passed out phase is hard to come by.
You know, come to think about it, my oldest is 16 now (yikes). I don't think i've had a really good nights sleep since, oh, 1992!
Feel better love...
I think the title of this post is my favorite!!! What's funny is that I almost said something after the last picture of Joe sleeping on the couch too. I was going to ask if he always falls asleep in the middle of everything. That picture is hilarious of him sleeping on the exercise ball!!
Has he ever fallen asleep at the table! our motor driven one has....I used to say he had an on or off switch.
What wonderful pictures. He has his own way of resting. Our C has her own way of knowing when she needs to "run". I love the uniqueness of our kids, don't you? Hugs..
There are many days when I feel like Joe, just wanting to lay my head down and go to sleep; he looks so peaceful ! :)
You get better, too, my Zoey, my big girl, my LOVE!!
HA great picture. You guys get to feeling better already will ya??
Sending lots of love from us to you.
I don't know anyone who isn't fighting some cold/flu thing.
Seems to be more intense this year than any year I can recall.
We really as a race need to take way better care of ourselves, our overall health is just seemingly getting more attacked every year.
So funny!!!
