"To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die." -Thomas Campbell

Photobucket

It was but a mere year ago that I was privileged and honored to be brought into the lives of sweet Lois and her family. Can't remember who contacted me.It doesn't matter in this moment. All that does,is that a small child, just 3,fought courageously hard, against a beast, that in the end,was far too ferocious for her tiny body to beat. But cancer cannot and will not defeat our spirits, nor kill our resolve,to see an end to this horrendous disease. Not ever.We will cling to hope and we will fight back.At least I will.We have said good bye to far too many friends.Far to many.

Our love and prayers go out to Lois' family and all who loved her so.Fly high baby girl.Fly high. You will dwell within our hearts forever.

My heart aches for her family. Such a precious little one, safe in the arms of Jesus, yet heartache for all those left behind. Hugs and love

So sad about little Lois. She captured all of us.

The first thing I did on arriving in California was to put your town in the GPS. I wasn't sure where it was and I was determined that if it were close I would be on my way. Does 80 miles from Disneyland seem about right?
As it turned out we arrived late Sunday night and by 2 oclock Wednesday we were on our way home. My son planned the trip and had us busy almost every second. We planned on leaving Wednesday evening or Thursday.
Then on Tuesday I got a call from my daughter, Katy. She went by my house to feed the horses and the dog and found that our basement door had been broken in. Someone went in and took some things. That put a damper on things, so we were anxious to get back.
I did find out that Jet Blue flies into Long Beach pretty cheap, so don't be surprised to find me on your door step one day.

I always thought of myself as being pretty tough but I can't imagine the pain of loosing a precious child.

When I consider that God gave his one and only son to die as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, I'm overwhelmed by that love.

Jesus, God's Son, died for us but He continues to live on in our heart if we accept his free gift of forgiveness from our sins.

I strongly agree with your quote from Thomas Campbell.

Our prayers go out for her family and all of the families who have lost someone so very precious.
