World Down syndrome Day .....

" Human genetics can be summarized in this basic creed.
In the beginning is the message, and the message is in life, and the message is life.
And if the message is a human message, then the life is a human life".~Dr.Jerome Lejeune, who discovered the the extra chromosome responsible for Down syndrome

We are loving that extra chromosome in this house and are so absolutely blessed by all that it brought with it 4 years ago.Zoey's light shines brightly on us daily and continues to be the force behind us living our lives more fully and loving each other more deeply. Not to mention the beautiful other faces, sporting that extra chromosome, that have enriched us beyond belief. This community of chromosomally enhanced beauties has been a remarkable source of support and an unending message of hope and inspiration. We thank all of you that have let us into your lives and more importantly, have shared your journey's with your amazing children with us.

Speaking of little beauties. Here is the precious Addy and we were lucky enough to have her come visit for Ella's birthday bash and spend the last 4 days with us.She is so darling and has been good as gold and,boy has she loved the boys in our house.Big and little. She was quite smitten with Mark and Matt actually. Will share more of our visit and Ella's party later. For now I leave you with Miss Addy dancing with Jake.So cute, aren't they?

I'm thinking Dr. Jerome had a VERY interesting looking bong, cause I have read and re-read that quote a dozen times and still can't fully understand what it means. ;)
