A Month of Gratitude ..

You know, it has been a tough week all around. But as I reflect on the events of our lives these days and simultaneously watch the coverage of the wreckage and devastation left by hurricane Sandy and the havoc unleashed on so many other peoples lives, I think yeah, it was stressful. It was indeed difficult taking care of a very sick, 100% dependent, disabled, fragile child but we were in our home. We had power. Warmth. Fresh food. Clean water. We had each other and you know what, it's all good. In this moment, it really and truly is.

Amem to that! Don't know how much coverage you are getting way out in California, but we here in Syracuse receive local updates, plus national. All of us who were not affected are so thankful, especially now that weather has turned cold and our homes are warm, gas & food plentiful and the lights are on!

Take care

30 days of gratitude - nice!!! I am hoping Zoey and the entire Needham clan is feeling better. I am encouraging my boys to appreciate the warmth in our house tonight.
