" For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulder, And His name will be Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace"

Wishing you all a Christmas filled with joy and laughter, surrounded by all those you love. And, for many of you, I send you prayers of peace and strength through these days, as you are missing one that you love. I know for my family and I, we are certainly feeling the void of my mother's presence but we are embracing this season, and each other and are soaking in the beauty of the season. Just as she would want us to.

I love that scripture. It is one of my favourites.

I am missing my mom too this Christmas. Last year I was so deep in a grief fog that I didn't even register. This year it stings a little more but I am trying to remember that she has passed on a wonderful legacy. I am so grateful for that.

Merry Christmas. Love to you.
